The emblem, written in the Avestan-inspired script of 'Ard', features "Iran" and "Football Federation" above a seven-pointed star representing the seven Amesha Spenta (Bounteous Immortals). A set of wings representing the Farr are imprinted in the back and on the sides of the jersey.
